Nutrition and Food Allergy Training
Included in this informal workshop training session will be menu and recipe
development exercises. Participants will learn how to approach menu and recipe
development procedure utilizing the USDA Nutrition Pyramid and current recommendations
for an active food allergy management system. A practical approach to the “How
and Why” of proper Nutrition, using a nutritional added value philosophy
to menu and recipe development, is included in the hands-on activities for participants.
