We offer Port Steward Services including on-board and on-shore services. Our
chef staff has on-board experience with MSC, MARAD, and commercial vessels sailing
in domestic waters. Certified by the National Restaurant Association as a ServSafe
Instructor/Proctor and by the National Environmental Health Association as a
Certified Trainer, and a Certified HACCP Manager. Our Chef Port Steward consultant
brings years of food safety and sanitation experience to the Maritime industry.
Port Steward services, include, but are not limited to, on-site inspections of Ship Chandlers for proper food safety procedures and sanitation of food storage facility, purchasing evaluation, on-board food safety audits, on-shore and on-board staff training, and development of Active Managerial Controls to control foodborne illness risk factors.
